Teaching Practice

Dear friends,

Your teaching practice period is extended till 9/10/2009 considering the requests made by supervisors to cope up with evaluation amidst their busy schedules. hope you are fine at schools. see you all on the 12th.

Hope you are doing well in your schools. You will meet your supervisors next week. Those who wish to complete your data collection please let me know as soon as possible so that I can assign you supervisors immediately. Have a nice time!

Lesson Plans

Please get into your groups and finalize your lesson plans on 31/08/09. Mrs.Chandrika Peiris will take the session on 2/08/09 at 1.15 p.m., after Dr.Ginige's session.

The class leader please collect the list of items you have to by for the materials preparation workshop scheduled on 1/09/09. The list is with Mr.Wajira Perera.

Guest Lecture

A guest lecture series on 5E model and Teaching English conducted by Dr.I.L.Ginige, ADG Science and Tecnology is scheduled on 02,03 and 07 September 2009 . All Dip TESL students are invited to this session. Sessions start at 9.30 a.m.

Teaching Practice Orientation

Teaching Practice Orientation sessions for the Dip TESL 2008/09 will be started on 31/08/09. All participants are expected to be present from 31/08/09 to 07/09/09 for the orientation sessions.

TESL Teaching Practice

Teaching Practice session for the Dip TESL 2008/09 will be started on 8/8/09. Those who have got their time tables are expected to go to particular schools assigned on 8/8/09. This is going to be a four week fulltime programme. Wish you good luck
